Jo Ann Lawson Jo Ann has lived in Lakeview for 12 years. She first served on the Tenants Association as Treasure for two years. Jo Ann has served as President for 10 years. She is an active member of the Community Board 11, Chair Carnival Committee V Chair Housing and is a member of the Disney voluntear. Jo Ann is an passionate for fair treatment for all. She describes her parents as activists, so it's in her blood and perserving affordable housing is very important to her. "There have been many milestones and hurdles we've overcome and still ahead. But I know with preservation and hard work, our development will continue to be a success story," Jo Ann said.

Inez Horton Inez's was first elected to the board ten years ago as Secretary. After two years with the board, Inez was elected to her current position, Vice President. Inez has worked closely with the tenants of Lakeview to build a safe and healthy environment. She was born and raised in East Harlem and has raised her son in Lakeview. Inez goals as Board Vice President are to maintain affordable housing and secure a promising future for her fellow tenants. |

Kim Kimball Kim is the first vice president of the Tenants Association and has served on the board for the past four years. Kim started working for the board by volunteering to make copies and distribute correspondents to the residents when she realized that she wanted to be more involved. Kim grew up in Lakeview with her grandparents, mother and aunts. She is married and raising her three boys in the community that she loves. |
Yolanda Queen Yolanda has been a member of the Tenants Association for four years and is currently serving as Treasurer. Serving on the board, Yolanda has become an advocate for perserving affordable housing in neighborhoods. Yolanda has lived at Lakeview for 25 years. "I grew up in the development and was fortunate enough to move to her own apartment in one of the other buildings", she said. Wanda has seen the development transition over those years and is looking forward to continuing to work for affordable housing. |

Wanda Watson Wanda has served on the board for four years and is its current Secretary. Wanda is responsible for taking all the minutes of the Tenants Association Board meetings. She also assists in coordinating the many yearly events for the development. Wanda has been a resident of Lakeview for 30 years and she raised her two children in the place she calls "home". |
